Members of Visual Arts Mississauga (VAM) at Riverwood are invited to participate in our Member Theme Shows. Each exhibit gives emerging and established VAM artists, the opportunity to exhibit their work.

VAM’s Annual Juried Show of Fine Arts
 
Visual Arts Mississauga’s 43rd Annual Juried Show of Fine Arts is an opportunity for members of the regional visual arts community to showcase their work alongside their peers, and for art enthusiasts to discover the wealth of talent in the region. This year the jury reviewed 150 submissions from artists across Ontario and selected 43 finalists.

Third Chapter: An Exhibition Celebrating Lifelong Learning
 
Visual Arts Mississauga (VAM) is pleased to host our annual Third Chapter: An Exhibition Celebrating Lifelong Learning in the VAM Gallery. The exhibition will feature artwork by VAM students and members aged 60+. Third Chapter exhibited March 1- March 14, 2021.

Co-curated by VAM’s Creative Residents, Now Streaming showcases artists ages 18-29 years old. The youth-led exhibition supports emerging artists working in experimental processes using a combination of traditional and new media.

VAM’s Creative Residency
 
VAM’s Creative Residency (VCR) is an opportunity for emerging artists in Mississauga to participate in a 6 month exhibitions program with a focus on mentorship and professional development. Residents have access to VAM’s art centre to develop their skills in art exhibition, education and engagement.
