Marlene MadoleAdult Instructor
Marlene Madole is a painter, watercolourist, photographer, printmaker, juror and artist-educator. Marlene is an elected member and a past president of the Canadian Society of Painters in Water Colour (CSPWC). An award-winning artist, Marlene has exhibited her work over 30 years in numerous group and solo exhibits, including five years in a row in the prestigious ‘Open Water’ CSPWC’s Annual International Juried Exhibition.
Her love of the Canadian landscape has taken her on travels across the Canadian north-west as well as the shorelines of Georgian Bay and the Credit River watershed. Marlene was chosen to be an Artist in the Park at Georgian Bay Islands National Park in their inaugural program in 2012.
Marlene graduated from Sheridan College’s School of Visual Arts and studied at the Ontario College of Art & Design. In 2012 she was selected for The Royal Conservatory’s Artist-Educator Foundations Course, sponsored by the Ontario Arts Council. Marlene has instructed for over 17 years including at the Royal Ontario Museum, The Leighton Art Centre of Calgary and was a demonstrator at the Ontario Science Centre. Marlene works from her Studio/Gallery at the Williams Mill Visual Arts Centre in Glen Williams, Ontario (a founding artist in 1995).
Marlene is very informed; an excellent instructor and artist, very calm and fun.
