We invite artists to share artwork exploring the idea of the future. What hopes do you have for the future? What goals do you want to accomplish? What predictions about the world do you have? What are you looking towards? This could be representational, or an abstraction of feelings, memories and stories.

Visual Arts Mississauga invites you to submit images of your 2-dimensional artwork for our World Art Day Community Exhibition!
The theme for this year is A GARDEN OF EXPRESSION: Cultivating Community through Art. We encourage you to consider themes like Home, Growth, Community, Identity, and Artistic Expression. What do these themes mean to you?
VAM would love to showcase the talented artwork of artists of all ages to celebrate World Art Day! We want to emphasize how important art is, promote different techniques and media, and to support artists of all ages.
Submissions are no longer being accepted (THANK YOU! We’ve received over 100 submissions!) Celebrate with us at the reception on April 19th@ VAM 6:30 – free public entry!
