CANCELLATIONS, REFUNDS AND CREDITS:
• All course and workshop cancellations to receive a credit or a refund must be made by the customer no less than one week prior to the start date of the course. There are no exceptions. Please consider the course description, level, day and time of the course so that it suits your needs, abilities and schedule prior to registration.
• All cancellations, refunds or credits are subject to a $30 administrative fee (+ HST where applicable).
• Cancellation for camps must be made by the customer no less than two weeks prior to the scheduled start date after which there is no refund.
• Memberships and entry fees to exhibitions are non-refundable.
COVID PROTOCOL
We take our VAMily’s safety and health seriously. If you choose to take a course or visit the gallery at VAM, here is what you can expect.
Starting March 12, VAM has revisited our mask mandate. Face makes will be encouraged but no longer mandatory. We ask for the cooperation of all staff, students and volunteers to respect the choice of others if they choose to wear a mask or not.
Visual Arts Mississauga takes the health and safety of our community seriously, sanitization stations will still be available. The City of Mississauga will clean the washroom area throughout the day. The VAM building will be fully cleaned nightly by a professional cleaning service.
Please continue to monitor your symptoms and use your best judgment when attending classes or visiting the gallery.

POSTPONEMENTS: VAM reserves the right to postpone or cancel programs for any reason. In the event that VAM postpones or cancels a paid program, students will be offered a refund or a credit, or the opportunity to transfer to another course of equivalent value if there is space available. There is no administrative fee applied to refunds or credits for programs cancelled by VAM.
• VAM administration reserves the right to postpone or cancel a course one week prior to the start date due to insufficient registration. We strongly recommend not buying materials before one week of the course start date along with holding on to receipts.
SUBSTITUTIONS: Should an Instructor be unavailable due to illness or other unforeseeable circumstances, Visual Arts Mississauga reserves the right to substitute another instructor.
TRANSFERS: Transfers are possible only if there is space available and if the transfer is made no less than one week prior to the start date of the course. Transfers will not be made once the term has begun. There is a $30 + HST administrative fee for transfers made less than one month before the course start date.
AUDITING: Auditing or sitting in on any course for any reason is not permitted.
Proof of payment must be presented to the instructor at the first class.
MAKE UP CLASSES: VAM does not offer make-up classes for students who are absent from regularly scheduled classes.
POLICY ON PHYSICAL AND/OR VERBAL AGGRESSION: At Visual Arts Mississauga, we strive to provide a fun, safe and enriching program to all of our students. VAM has a zero tolerance policy for violence and bullying. Students who display aggressive, harassing, hateful, violent, or otherwise disrespectful behaviour will be removed from programs at the discretion of the Executive Director or Arts Program Coordinator. A refund for the balance of remaining classes will be issued. (Subject to the $30.00 administration fee)
