Diana Balogh-Tyszko

Diana has been in love with photography since she was 9 years old, and is constantly inspired by the photographs she sees unfolding around her.

She is a graduate of the Applied Photography Program at Sheridan College, and has been working in the commercial photography field for over 10 years. After graduating, she began shooting portraits and events and moved on to working at a prominent studio in Toronto. During her years there, she helped create images for the LCBO’s “Food & Drink” magazine, Canadian Living, and The Globe & Mail.

Diana’s varied career has also allowed for lots of travel, and she finds that whether you are in a Nepali teahouse, a Polish salt mine, or at a Hawaiian luau there are only two things you really need – a smile on your face, and your camera around your neck!

When Diana isn’t behind the lens or teaching she is on stage with her ATS bellydance group Tribe MayaFire. She is also a prominent member of WELNepal, a charity that funds women’s literacy programs in Nepal. A few years ago, she had the incredible opportunity to travel to Nepal and meet some of the inspiring women who have become literate through the organization.

Diana’s photography classes offer real world experience, practical knowledge, and will teach you how to stop being intimidated by your camera, and start creating the beautiful photos you see in your mind’s eye.
