Helen McCusker earned her Illustration Diploma from Sheridan College and worked as a freelance Graphic Designer and Illustrator in Eaglewood Studios. She has had a life-long fascination for drawing and painting portraits and the human form. Figure Drawing and Painting is the cornerstone of her regular art practice.
Paper engineering and paper sculpture are other passions where she seeks new ways to explore and express ideas that intrigue.
Helen has been teaching art for over twenty years. She teaches classes and workshops for many venues, including Haliburton School of Art and Design and CBBAG. She finds it both exciting and rewarding watching her students become proficient in their art practices.
She is a member of Visual Arts Mississauga, Neilson Park Creative Centre and a Board member of Etobicoke Art Group.
